EDWARDSVILLE A Dorsey man faces several felony weapons charges after an April 8 incident in Granite City.
Randy L. Sheppard, 41, of Dorsey, was charged with possession of a firearm with revoked firearm owners ID card, a Class 3 felony, and aggravated unlawful use of weapons and criminal damage to property over $500, both Class 4 felonies.
The case was presented by the Granite City Police Department.
According to court documents, on April 8 Sheppard allegedly was found to be in possession of a Smith & Wesson 9 mm handgun while having a revoked Firearm Owners Identification Card, and was carrying it loaded, uncased and easily accessible in a motor vehicle without a concealed carry permit. He is also accused of causing more than $500 damage to another person’s 2000 Toyota 4runner by breaking out the windows and ramming the back of the vehicle. ....

STEVENSON, Ala. (WAFF) - The town of Stevenson is hoping a new $25,000 investment will pay off by bringing in more revenue.
Last week the Jackson County Commission approved $25,000 in funding to help create a new campsite at Stevenson Park.
That money comes from the Jackson County Commission.
Adding an RV site to the park has been a hope of city leaders for years.
Mayor Rickey Steele said funding was hard to come by, so he decided to reach out to the Jackson County Commission for help. ....
